So you need a light source that is always available, as you most probably know batteries are quite expensive to replace. The wind up products from Cybalite are always ready and is powered through winding it up. If you cant muster up enough energy to wind the lamp or torch up then you also have the option to charge up from a solar panel or by plugging the product into your cars cigarette lighter.

Here are the amount of minutes lighting time you for the Cyba-Lite lantern in relation to the wind up times. Obviously the light lasts longer on Lo settings than on high.
- 1 minute winding will give 10/8 minutes light (Lo/Hi).
- 3 minute winding will give 15/12 minutes light (Lo/Hi).
- 5 minute winding will give 20/15 minutes light (Lo/Hi).
